ShreeMetalPrices: Russia Ukraine War: Russia launches exceptional airraid on Kyiv


The amount of the damage & probable casualties during the Russia-Ukraine War were unknown at the time. According to municipal officials, Russia attacked Kyiv in the earlier hours of Tuesday using drones, cruise missiles. And likely ballistic missiles as the Ukrainian capital has already experienced eight air raids this month.

Serhiy Popko, the chief of the city military administration in Kyiv, commented on the incident in remarks shared on the messaging app Telegram. In terms of the quantity of attack missiles at one moment, he observed, “It was unusual in its density.”

Preliminary data indicates that the vast majority of hostile target in the airspace around Kiev were found and destroyed.

It was unclear right first how many items were shot down above the city or if any of them succeedeed in hitting their intended targets.

Russia restarted its strategy of long-range missile attacks in late April after a week-long break, and in recent days has conducted a flurry of attacks, frequently targeting Kyiv. So far, Ukraine has been able to fend off the great majority of attacks.

According to officials, falling debris was record on Tuesday in the Kyiv neighbourhoods of Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Darnytskyi.

In the west of the capital’s Solomyanskyi neighbourhood, falling debris, according to Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kiev, set a number of cars on fire & caused damage to a structure. There were three people injuries.

According to Klitschko, drone attacks were being repelled by air defence installations south of Boryspil. The primary passenger airport for the city of Kyiv is located in Boryspil, which is currently closed.

According to the military government, there were no early reports of any potential casualties or serious damage in other districts.
