Many smelters in China May resume Lead production in the second part of the month following early May in maintenance. While a growing number of smelters started maintenance in the first half of the month.
The availability of lead ingots will change significantly. According to the Shree Metal Prices survey, the majority of the businesses that finished up maintenance in May were medium-sized and big businesses in Yunnan & Hunan.
The majority of these significant businesses are situated in Henan, Shandong. China Guangdong, the Inner Mongolia, and Jiangxi, where they intend to carry out maintenance in May.
Shree Metal Prices anticipates that primary lead producers’ average operating rates will reduce by 0.61 percentage points to 68.70% in May. While the output of refining lead will continue to modestly decline.
